Intensive Workshop, SW November 2008

The intensive workshop is a very rewarding experience as it provides a wonderful opportunity for reflection and networking with others while learning theory and practicing skills. This year’s group was diverse in terms of background, professional training, previous exposure to narrative therapy and work context. Like in the past this makes for an optimal learning opportunity. The questions were stimulating and very enriching of our discussions and made my task as facilitator much easier. Some of the feedback of participants includes:

Some words of reflection from participants

This was a fantastic moment. I leave this workshop with sparkles, with hope and energies to touch other lives. My life was touched by all participants. I would love to do the same in East Africa (Kenya). Thank you Elize.

This workshop has not only enriched my stance in the workplace but it has also added so much wealth to my own life – I have learnt so much about myself through the eyes of others this week and through the conversations that I’ve had – Thank you Elize.

It was a very enriching experience and I feel encouraged and enthusiastic about trying to carry the process of this learning forward into my own life and work.

Thank you so much for allowing me to take a small step into Narrative culture, it is truely a way of looking at life. The way the workshop was presented was a true embodied experience.
